ISI-UZO 2027: Hon. Agbo: The Needed Reliable Candidate for Effective Representation.
The world has evolved over the years in every aspect of human life, politics not excluded. Even democracy, which is the form of government that is operational in Nigeria has also improved in so many ways through reforms that have increased the participation of the citizens.
In as much as the counsel of the elderly is required, the vibrancy and the tech knowledge of the age we are in currently are highly needed to drive socio-economic development and progress of the people.
The willing and passionate youths should be given opportunity to represent the people, since democracy is a representative government. That would enable them use their energy positively in the service of the people before they get old. Just as the scripture captures in the book of Ecclesiastes, the youth should also be encouraged to serve their people while they are still young.
Nigeria has been bleeding profusely since 2015, when the current ruling party was declared winner of the presidential election. Everything started changing from bad to worse and the uncertainty that pervades every sector of the Nigerian socioeconomic life has worsened the situation.
The democracy we practice in Nigeria seemed to have become an elitist system that it seems that the people are rarely considered while decisions are made. What is needed in Nigeria today are young, vibrant and passionate young minds that understand the global realities of humanity.
One of the greatest challenge Nigerians have had over the years that have hindered positive political development is the belief that it is only the ruling party that can deliver; opposition should not be allowed to breathe. That mindset works against the practice seen during the first republic when the founding fathers of modern Nigeria had alliances to form government. It also negates the principles of democracy.
As a representative government, commitment, energy, vibrancy, capacity and accountability are necessary ingredients required of anyone who aspires to represent the collective will of his or her people. Representation requires integrity laced with humility. An individual with people-oriented pedigree, who has the ability to feel the impulse of the constituents.
A person who has the capacity to aggregate diverse opinions of his people into actionable proposal that can draw government attention to the plight of his people. A person with strong will and stable character with the ability to mobilize, especially the youth since the youths are the heartbeat of any progressive society.
A person who has the ability to confer with and listen to his people to understand their priority needs at any point in time. That is exactly the type of representative that the people of Isi-Uzo State Constituency need at this time, having been shortchanged and sidelined at various times in the past.
Now is a critical time in the political life of Isi-Uzo State Constituency. It is no more time to join the bandwagon of acclaimed winning team that may eventually drown their voices, disregard their political contributions and toss them like toys.
This is a time for a paradigm shift in the scheme of things and political orientation of the people of Isi-Uzo. A time to mobilize and choose an outspoken and selfless representative who would leverage any available profitable opportunity to ensure that Isi-Uzo gets its fair share in the polity.
Isi-Uzo needs a capable representative that has the capacity to defend and protect the rights of the constituents. A voice that can galvanize unified force rather than create discordant forces capable of discouraging upcoming leaders.
It has always been said that the youths are the leaders of tomorrow. We should not allow the tomorrow of our own youth to become elusive.
Isi-Uzo people need new energy, new blood and new mind that has the capacity to withstand and weather political storms and flow with the realities of the modern-day politics; political affiliation notwithstanding.
Let the youth rise. Let the men and women of goodwill rise and embrace a new dawn unfolding to give the people of Igbo-Ise the true democratic representation and inclusion they deserve. Let the people rise to support a vibrant, committed, audacious, credible and selfless young man Honourable Chijioke James Agbo jnr., who despite his accomplishments has offered to give the people of Isi-Uzo the deserved representation in the Enugu State House of Assembly, come sixth February 2027.

Hon. Chijioke James Agbo, who is he?
Hon. Chijioke was born on 20th June 1980 to the family of late Mr. James Agbo and Mrs. Alice Agbo (late Mr. James Agbo was one of the courageous men who took the bold step to fight for the socioeconomic liberation of the people of Igbo-Ise but were unfortunate, as their lives were cut short in an ill-fated journey in 1980) of Isienu Neke, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Chijioke grew up without, a glimpse of his father in the village experiencing the inadequacies and challenges of a rural community at the time across Isi-Uzo. He had his primary education at Community Primary School Neke and later at Community Primary School Nru Nsukka from where he proceeded to Boys’ High School Nru Nsukka for his post primary school education.

After that, he gained admission into the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, but unfortunately, could not complete his studies due to financial constraint at the time. In 2014, he travelled to Malaysia where he bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from MAHSA University.
Those experiences spurred him to developing passion for meaningful community development, youth empowerment, agricultural improvement and the urge to improve the living condition of the ordinary people.
Numerous socioeconomic challenges he encountered from his early life ignited his desire to create opportunities for others and contribute meaningfully to his people through grassroots engagement for rural development, entrepreneurship, accountability and transparency in service.
His vision for the people of Isi-Uzo State Constituency is to contribute to ensure a better future, especially for the vulnerable ones through purposeful leadership, inclusive representation and sustainable development.
Let the good people of Igbo-Ise both at home and in diaspora join hands and rise together to our destined political space. A strong voice, definitely will guarantee a better future for us.
ISI-UZO BU ISHI!
